Boulevard Magazine

Boulevard Magazine is the kind of glossy magazine your can lose yourself in for a while. It’s informative, entertaining, and keeps you up to date on what is happening. Stories focus on high-end homes, fashion, arts, food, people and design in the area. I currently write for all three locations: Okanagan, Central Island and at times, Victoria Boulevard. Check out their publications here.

Three Great Publications

Boulevard Victoria Magazine captures the personality, culture and vitality that is the Greater Victoria area. It focuses on the arts, people, trends, food, architecture and design.

I am excited to write for this magazine and work with all the great people who create it. This is truly a dynamic team effort with fantastic results.

My first assignment was to write about John Bateman, son of Robert Bateman. It was truly wonderful to learn about his artistic passions and how he and the Bateman Centre are making sure the Bateman legacy lives on.

Boulevard OkanaganBoulevard Okanagan launched it’s first issue in December of 2016. I was honoured to be in that issue with two great stories.

This new magazine took over where Okanagan Home left off. It was an honour and a privilege to write  for Justin O’Connor and Okanagan Home for over six years.

I met so many amazing architects, home owners, designers and craftspeople. It boggles the mind to think what goes in to creating a beautiful home.

Boulevard Central Island has a look and feel of its own, while sticking to the tried and true format of all Boulevard Magazines. I love taking a day trip up island and meeting all the great people there who graciously allow me into their home and let me write about it.

While I now call Victoria home, I have a second home in the Okanagan where I get to stay while I write my stories about an area I grew up in, and still love to this day.
