The world changed in early 2020 and the way authors market their books changed too. Readings at libraries, in person fundraising events, author book signings, all have pretty much gone away. Some are still available with numerous protocols put into place for safety. However, there are other ways to market your book.

There was a joke circulating around the end of March that if you really wanted to sell your book(s), then put them next to the toilet paper in the stores. Fortunately, there are other ways. From snail mail to email to social media, you can get the sales you need for your book with a little determination and effort.

Learn all the ways to promote and market your book through socially distanced means. We cover the basics from Amazon to Twitter to Facebook and Instagram and a few more thrown in for good measure.

Learn how to create a following through your email list. Don’t have a list? We’ll show you how to build one up.

Websites, Facebook pages, LinkedIn profiles, all need to come together to form a cohesive web designed to snag the attention of readers who would love to read your book(s).

Whether you chose to sell only through Amazon, or find another outlet, buying online is the way most book buyers prefer to shop during this pandemic. Print books, which had recently made a comeback, are now dropping in sales, and eBooks are on the rise due to long delivery time for print on demand books. If you still prefer paperback books, we’ve got some ideas for them too.

You’ll learn how to get creative with your marketing, have fun, and be the one that stands out from the crowd.

What to expect:

  • There are three, 1.5 hour Zoom classes.
  • Attendees will be emailed the course materials and instructions on where and how to log-in online before the course start date.
  • There is a chat space for questions, which the instructor monitor’s and answers. Live questions are more than welcome.
  • There will be two take home assignment for Market Your Book
